Classics Dry Premiere
Top players seek the best equipment. Requiring a solid foundation to maintain balance throughout their higher swing speeds, these players choose to wear Classics Dry Premiere golf shoes for ultimate stability and motion control.
Beautiful calfskin leather uppers, outsoles crafted in leather, welt construction, and precise fitting options are just a few of the reasons that make Classics shoes the standard by which all golf shoes are measured.
What starts off as a collection of fine raw materials, methodically evolves into the world's finest golf shoe using tools and techniques that have gone primarily unchanged since the Classics factory's birth in the 1800's.
The process itself, with over 160 steps in total, is so uncommon that the 144 Field Street factory is the only welted shoe factory in the United States that is still in operation.
The Classics Dry Premiere range for 2007 will include two new styles: brown ostrich print saddle with white smooth calfskin; and black lizard inlay with black smooth calfskin.
Hoffman Wins Hope!
FootJoy staff player Charley Hoffman birdied the first hole of a playoff for his first career victory at the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic.
In the final round, the 30-year-old Hoffman birdied the 17th hole and eagled the 18th in regulation to force the playoff at 17-under, then birdied the 18th in the playoff for the win.
The southern California native laced up a pair of FootJoy Classics Dry Premiere for his win in the desert.
Charley's win makes FJ a perfect 3 for 3 on the 2007 PGA Tour (Vijay Singh- Mercedes Championship, Paul Goydos- Sony Open).
