Classics Dry Premiere
28/01/2007
Top players seek the best equipment. Requiring a solid foundation to maintain balance throughout their higher swing speeds, these players choose to wear Classics Dry Premiere golf shoes for ultimate stability and motion control.
Beautiful calfskin leather uppers, outsoles crafted in leather, welt construction, and precise fitting options are just a few of the reasons that make Classics shoes the standard by which all golf shoes are measured.
What starts off as a collection of fine raw materials, methodically evolves into the world's finest golf shoe using tools and techniques that have gone primarily unchanged since the Classics factory's birth in the 1800's.
The process itself, with over 160 steps in total, is so uncommon that the 144 Field Street factory is the only welted shoe factory in the United States that is still in operation.
The Classics Dry Premiere range for 2007 will include two new styles: brown ostrich print saddle with white smooth calfskin; and black lizard inlay with black smooth calfskin.

It was a 1-2 finish for FootJoy players at the season-opening Mercedes-Benz Championship with Vijay Singh topping FootJoy ambassador Adam Scott by two shots. Singh fired a final round 70 (-3) to finish at 278 (-14), while Scott closed with three consecutive 69s to finish at 280.
It was the 30th career PGA TOUR victory for Singh and the 18th since he turned 40, breaking the record held by Sam Snead. Singh had been runner-up the past two years at this event.
The hilly conditions at Kapalua's Plantation Course didn't phase Vijay, who has long been a FootJoy Contour Series loyalist.
